POSITIONS ELECTED DURING CAUCUS & CONVENTION:
Precinct Chair
The precinct Chair heads up the organizing efforts of the precinct they belong to. The precinct Chair also attends monthly BPOU and votes on the Full Committee. The precinct Chair will be elected at the precinct caucus for a term of two years. The estimated time commitment to be precinct Chair is around 5 hours a month. HD 50A has 17 precincts in its House District.

Precinct Deputy Chair
The precinct Deputy Chair assists the precinct Chair in helping to organize the outreach efforts in their precinct. The precinct Deputy Chair votes in Full Committee meetings if the Chair is not able to attend. The precinct Deputy Chair is elected at the precinct caucus for a term of two years. The estimated time commitment to be a precinct Deputy Chair is between 3-5 hours per month. HD 50A has 17 precincts in its House District.

Precinct Delegate
The precinct Delegate is a voting position. They vote during the BPOU Convention to elect Congressional and State Delegates. They also vote to endorse candidates for office in House District 50A. Finally, the precinct Delegate vote for the new Executive leadership in the spring of 2011. Precinct Delegates are elected for a term of two years and are expected to commit 7 - 10 hours of time at official BPOU meetings.

Congressional Delegate
The Congressional Delegate is a voting position. They vote during Full Committee meetings for Congressional District 5. They also vote during the Congressional District 5 Convention where the Executive Committee is elected as well as vote to endorse the United States Congressional candidate for CD5. Full Committee Meetings range between once a month to once a quarter depending on the year. Expected time commitments range 2 - 3 hours per month as well as an all day CD5 Convention and Endorsing Convention. Congressional Delegates are elected during the BPOU Convention.

State Delegate
The State Delegate is a voting position. The primary responsibility is to attend the Minnesota State Republican Convention which is held annually. During these conventions the State Delegate will vote to endorse candidates for statewide office (Governor, etc) and will vote to elect State Party leadership in the second year. The expected time commitment will consist of an all day convention each year for two years. State Delegates are elected during the BPOU Convention.
